So many firsts! Their first baby, my first time for the man to book, the first time shooting at this location. Speaking of locations, I suggested Stephen and Angie look at two previous maternity sessions on the blog and let me know which locations appealed to them. The resounding response was “the rocks”. So I tried to explain how to reach this place.
It wasn’t until a screenshot was sent that I realised it was actually a destination maternity session at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania that caught their eye! Impressive taste, but not exactly achievable! But we re-grouped and thought of this.
Though the Kaputar Ranges aren’t quite Cradle Mountain and this meandering creek is no Dove Lake, it still has a grandeur of its own! Wouldn’t you agree? It served as a striking backdrop for capturing the love shared by Angie and Stephen and for their eagerly anticipated baby. I can’t wait to meet her either – I just know she’s going to be adorable!
